What to Measure

Don’t overwhelm yourself if you have a small team (or no team) running the marketing for your small business. Keep it simple and focused on what matters. This is likely a good set of data for you:

  • Traffic to page: Measure this with UTMs (learn how here).

  • Booked actions: The number of calls, forms, or orders.

  • Assists: This is the number of saves, shares, “get directions” or click-to-calls on GBP

  • List Growth: How many new email/SMS subscribers or followers did you get during this time?
